I did not walk into my custody battle with a framework. I walked in with a folder of screenshots and the certainty that if the judge could just see what I saw, it would be over quickly.
It was not over quickly.
What I learned — through court appearances, failed negotiations, a lawyer who was not fully in my corner and was advocating for my ex, and a settlement deadline I refused to accept by fasting and prayer — is that the family court system operates on a completely different set of rules than the ones most people assume going in.
I wrote the guide because of what I know and experienced first hand in a 5 year Court Custody Battle. I wrote the devotional because of what kept me standing while I was learning it.
Strategy without spiritual grounding will exhaust you. Faith without practical framework will frustrate you.
